Puff Pastry Apple Roses

I plan to post other recipes on the site these days, but after I came across this apple roses I couldn't resist not making them and immediately put it on the site as well. It is very beautiful, fragrant, easy to prepare, cheap, fasting, moderately sweet, excellent! If you want to do something simple and beautiful, I highly recommend it!

Ingredients
Puff pastry

Cinnamon powder
1 tsp
Citric acid crystals
1 tsp

Step 1

Wash the apples, cut them in half, and cut into very thin slices.

Then put them in a saucepan, pour enough water to cover them and boil them with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of citric acid crystals. When they start to boil, turn off the heat.

Then they are placed on a plate with napkins or kitchen towels, to dry the water well on them.

Thaw only half the amount of puff pastry. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and cut into strips 1 cm thick.

Turn and arrange on an oven tray greased with a little oil. I got about 15 pieces of this amount of apples and dough - exactly a full baking tray.

Put them in the oven at medium temperature, until golden brown - about 1 - 1.5 hours. Then remove and powder with sugar. They are very good and warm and cold.
