Classic Vanilla Ice Cream

A first and best use Creme Anglaise - ice cream with a childhood taste, creamy, fine and very, very good.

I said a long time ago to put more ice cream recipes on the site, this would be the recipe I have to start with. Only after doing it for about 2 years did I notice that it is also the most popular milk ice cream on the internet.

From here you can make any variations you like - with cocoa, fruit, etc.

Prepare Creme Anglaise - let it cool well.

Here are 2 ways to make ice cream:

- use the ice cream machine - that's what I did now - pour the cream in the car and let it do its job.

- put the cream in the freezer and beat it every 30 minutes - to open the ice crystals - that's what I did until I got my ice cream machine.

Notice that after a while it thickens well (in the ice cream machine).

Put it in a box and leave it in the freezer for 1 hour.
