Apple and Berry Tart with Oat Crust

Being on a diet now if you asked me what I would like to eat sweet - I would say I don't want anything special, no cakes, no chocolates - but I would serve this tart with great pleasure! Although it is a lighter fat tart, it surpasses the taste, aroma and texture of any classic fruit tart.

Oatmeal is a great thing, it makes the tart a little crispier and a more interesting texture, and after it absorbs more fruit juice, it's crazy.

I recommend trying it with any frozen fruit you have: cherries, currants, blueberries, strawberries (I put them so frozen, I don't defrost them anymore) - and be sure to try combining them with apples, although it's not mandatory.

Step 3

It comes out like a regular tart dough, a little sticky and harder.

Step 4

It is spread with your hands (or with a rolling pin) and put in the shape of a tart (I did not grease it with oil).

Press well with your fingers to fit the shape perfectly.

Step 5

Put frozen fruit and apple slices on top of the dough (if you want).

Fruits can be frozen and thawed, I did so and so, there was no difference - it's just more convenient, if you suddenly come to make tart, you do not have to thaw the fruit in time.

Pour this composition over the fruits in the pan and put in the oven - at 180 degrees, for about 40 minutes.

Step 8

After baking, let it cool well, it is even tastier if you leave it for a few hours or even overnight.

Before serving, garnish with powdered sugar.

Step 9

I made the tart above with red currants and apples. This one is with blackcurrant and apples.

The fruit variations can be as you want and have, however it will be delicious and healthy - with a slight buttery, fruity and crunchy aroma.

Good appetite!
