Bean Stew with Sausages and Sour Cream

As I promised you, another bean stew recipe, this time a bit more "sinful", but so good that it's worth trying at least 1-2 times a year.

Very tasty bean stew, it's important to choose some good sausages, if you add some pork or bacon shaped breasts, it will be even better.

Boiled beans
1 kg
or 500g dried beans
300 g
+ some bacon or smoked pork breast - optional
White onion
1 piece
1 piece
Tomato paste
1 tsp
or pepper paste - I use this more
Sour cream
300 g
simple, fermented sour cream
1 tsp
to taste
Ground black pepper
0.25 tsp
+ other favorite herbs - parsley, tarragon
Sunflower oil
20 ml

Step by step

The beans are soaked in water overnight, so they will boil better and faster.

Then boil for 2-3 hours with some bay leaves, a little oil, an onion, water 2-3 times more than beans in volume.

Heat a frying pan well with a little oil.

Add sausages cut into pieces of about 2-3 cm, bacon and medium chopped onion - stir periodically until lightly browned.

Add the diced tomatoes, mix and let it cook for about 5 minutes.

Add the tomato / pepper paste, for a more intense taste and color. Mix well, let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

This is what the composition looks like.

Now add the boiled beans, mix well and cook for 10 minutes.

Add sour cream, stir again and simmer for another 10 minutes.

Suitable for salt, pepper, I also added a little tarragon.

Turn off the heat, let it penetrate for a few minutes.

Serve with some pickles and enjoy ...

Good appetite!
