Watermelon Lemonade

Watermelon Lemonade

Summer is in full swing and we are looking for various solutions to enjoy something delicious and cool in this heat. Of course, watermelon is one of the most handy desserts - delicious, healthy, beautiful etc. You should know that watermelon lemonade is a way to cool you down, without the risk of filling you all with juice. It's also clean and easy to serve to children. Lemonade is a good idea if you have a watermelon which is not so fresh anymore and not exactly tasty.

I recommend trying this recipe. To serve in a more interesting way, I took a small watermelon, I scooped the core out with a spoon, I cut it a little from the base (to make it more stable) and I made a kind of melon cup. The children really liked it, as you do realize :)

Step 3

Add honey.

I wrote only 1 teaspoon of honey in the ingredients list, but you can adjust to your taste. Although watermelon is generally sweet, when making lemonade, you still need to use some sweetener - honey, sugar, whatever you like.

Then pour this mixture in a sieve and stir with a spoon to strain more easily.

Initially, I was thinking of skipping this step, but I noticed that there were some seeds and white threads left in the sieve, so I did well eventually.
