Many of those who follow me on Facebook know that I became a mother for the second time, we have a baby Maria, Sofia's sister. Being in the hospital with Maria, after the cesarean section I had dietary restrictions. Then one of the days on the menu I had grilled chicken breast with sauteed carrots. Or because I was very hungry after 2 days of water and soups, I really liked that carrot. I came home, I improvised something similar and it came out, maybe even better than in the hospital.
Since then on the market list we have to buy many carrots, 4-5 kg at a time. I continued and continue to cook them because we like them very much, especially in combination with meat, but also because other vegetables are not allowed in great diversity because I breastfeed, colic, etc. The carrot prepared in this way is a little crunchy, a little sweet with a slight buttery flavor - perfect, at least for me.
I may receive ironic comments, like what a great thing to put carrots in the pan, but maybe there are people like me who will discover that it can be simple and tasty, but cooked correctly, even in the 5 steps. Be sure to try them, they work well for children, Sofia eats perfectly.
