A perfect combination and a very successful plum loaf, texture, taste, color - everything was to our liking. Next time I would try not to put cinnamon, but only to experiment. Plums are the perfect fruit for such sweets, they acquire a color and taste that seems better than when they are fresh. And here I had the plums a bit sour and hard, but in the cake they were perfect.

Wash the plums, remove the seeds and cut them into cubes.
Mix the eggs well with the sugar then add a little melted butter, mix well.
Add flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder, mix well with a mixer or whisk so that they are not lumpy.
Finally add the plums, mix slowly with a spatula.
Pour the dough into a cake pan lined with baking paper and put it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
When the cake is browned and passed the toothpick test, take it out of the oven and let it cool in the pan directly for about 20 minutes. Then take it out of the tray with paper and let it cool completely on a towel.
You can serve it hot (then it is more crumbly and fragile) or cold (it is cut and kept much better).
