"Tzatziki" Sauce

"Tzatziki" Sauce

It's a very flavourful sauce, fresh and tasty - in fact, the main plus is that it's so quick and the ingredients are easy to get. I recommend Tzatzitki for potatoes, meat, vegetables etc. - it goes together with almost any meal and it's something between salad and sauce - so it can also be served as such.

Ingredients

Yoghurt
250 g
Cucumber
1 pcs
Dill
1 pcs
optional, 1 small bunch
Garlic
3 pcs
3 cloves
Fresh mint leaves
2 pcs
or dried mint leaves - but honestly, sometimes I also did it without and it was still very good
Salt
0.5 tsp
to taste
Olive oil
1 tsp

Step by step

1

Finely chop the cucumber or, even easier, use the big holes side of the grater.

2

In a bowl, add the cucumbers and chopped dill, this is optional.

3

Finely chop the mint and add to the rest of the ingredients.

4

Crush the garlic and tip into the bowl.

5

Pour in the yogurt and salt and mix well all the ingredients.

Sprinkle some olive oil on top and that's all.

Enjoy!
