It is a traditional recipe from the village where I grew up (this pudding is called "Baba" there), it is usually made for holidays, important events, being a simple and delicious dessert, without sophisticated ingredients. It is a very good dessert for children and not only :)

The pasta is boiled according to the instructions on the package.
After they have boiled, drain them of water, rinse with a little cold water.
Then pour a little refined oil - 2-3 tablespoons, mix well so that it does not stick together.
Rinse the raisins with hot water.
In a deep bowl beat 5 eggs, add milk, sugar and vanilla essence.
Mix well with a fork or spoon.
Add the egg mixture to the macaroni and mix well with a spoon.
Add the raisins and stir once more.
An oven tray is spread with baking paper, so that the edges are covered. Grease the paper well with butter, it will give an extra taste to the pudding and it will not stick to it.
Pour the macaroni composition into the pan and put it in the oven over medium heat.
Remove it when it browns well, let it cool a bit in the pan.
Turn it over on a plate - let it be upside down.
Portion it and enjoy it with the whole family. It is good and hot and cold.
