Mulled Wine

Mulled Wine

There is nothing special to the mulled wine recipe, I used to make it intuitively - I would just combine the wine with sugar and cinnamon and that was it. But if you want a fine mulled wine, with more diverse flavours and spices, slices of apple and orange, then you should consider this recipe. Wine will be tasty and flavourful, it will warm you up in the cold nights and it will also look exqusite!

If you don't have all the ingredients listed below, it's not a big deal :) Worst case, you can use only cinnamon and black peppercorn. But I will say it again. It is worth the effort of bringing new flavours to your spice shelf. You can feel the cardamom flavour, the anise and the cloves - they blend in perfectly together. I like it more with the spices whole, they can be removed after they release their flavour.

I hope you have the same desire for a cup of mulled wine just like me, so that you'll find useful this simple, yet interesting recipe.
