Ingredients

Oat flour
360 g
Raisins
50 g
Sugar
100 g
Apples
300 g
3–4 apples
Water
100 ml
Lemon juice
3 tsp
Sunflower oil
2 tbsp
Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp
Baking powder
2 tsp

Step by step

Step 1

In a bowl, mix oat flour and well-drained raisins.

Blend peeled apples, water, oil, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until smooth.

Add the blended mixture to the bowl with oat flour and raisins.

Mix well with a spoon to create a liquid dough.

Let it sit for 30-40 minutes until it thickens. If the dough is too thin to form balls, add more oat flour or white flour.

If the dough is sticky, grease your hands with oil and form dough balls. Place the balls on a Teflon tray or a tray lined with baking paper.

Press the dough balls slightly with a spoon soaked in oil.

Keep them thick to prevent from becoming too dry and hard after baking.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes until lightly browned.

Ive been looking for a very long time for recipes like yours that use more unusual ingredients like buckwheat and oat flour, not too much sugar and have an ethnic touch. Also love the simplicity of your recipes and that you bring in more unusual european recipes from slavic countries. Well done!
