Chicken "pie"

It's actually a dish of chicken breast with vegetables, I really like the combination of ingredients - looks like a pie, just don't have the dough - just meat and vegetables.

Very good and delicious. A slice would be a serving of meat with vegetables - I think it works well as a festive meal,but if it is cold as an appetizer. See a section on the last step.

Ingredients

Chicken breast4 pcs
White onion3 pcs
Carrots3 pcs
Mushrooms500 gor canned
Sour cream3 tbsp
Yellow cheese250 g
Salt1 tsp
Pepper0.25 tsp
Sunflower oil50 ml

Step by step

Dice onions and grate the carrots. Put them in a pan with some oil, cook and stir regularly.

When vegetables cooked, add sliced mushrooms - mix well composition.

After 10 minutes add sour cream, salt and pepper. Mix well all ingredients and remove from the heat. This wil be "the filling" of the pie.

Wash chicken breasts and slice them thin and long.

Grease a deep round pan with oil. Arrange breast pieces side by side, on the bottom of the pan and a little on the walls.

Sprinkle an half of grated cheese over the meat.

Add the cooked begetables, press gently with a spoon.

Then cover with another layer of sliced chicken breast. Place the pan in the oven at 200 C.

After 30 minutes remove the pan from the oven and carefully drain the water formed in the tray. Then sprinkle the pie with grated cheese and place in the oven until browned.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Here is a section of the "pie". Serve as a hot dish with vegetables, cold as an appetizer - and very delicious in both ways.
