Chicken with sour cream

My favorite recipe since I was a child, I really recommend you to try it.  It's one of the best Romanian dishes, very delicious and easy to prepare.

 

Ingredients

Sunflower oil
50 ml
White onion
2 pcs
Sour cream
500 g
White flour
1 tbsp
Salt
0.5 tsp
Chicken
1 kg

Step by step

Simmer the chicken for about 30-40 min or cook the meat you used for chicken soup.

Remove from water and let it dry.

Heat some oil in a pan and cook the meat on both sides.

Put the cooked meat in a dish, and meanwhile prepare next ingredients.

Chop the onion.

Sauté onions in oil until slightly browned

Then add 1 tablespoon of flour and let it fry - stir regularly.

Cook the onion and flour mix for about 3-5 min.

Then add the sour cream and stir continuously.

Add salt  to the sauce and let it simmer 5 minutes.  If you want it more liquid, you can add more chicken soup or water.

Add the fried meat into the sauce and let them simmer  together for another 5-10 min.

Serve warm, with great appetite :)
