Bechamel Sauce Recipe

It is a simple and tasty white sauce, you can use it to prepare lasagna and pasta recipes.

Ingredients

Butter
3 tbsp
Cow milk
0.5 l
White flour
3 tbsp
Salt
0.5 tsp
Nutmeg
5 g
nutmeg to taste

Step by step

In a saucepan melt butter, over low heat.

When the butter starts to foam add the flour, mixing well with a wooden tablespoon. Cook over low heat 3-4 minutes.

Pour the milk, but not all at once - pour 50-100ml then stir well - and again pour some milk, stir continuously (to avoid formation of lumps).

Let it cook and continue stirring for 5 minutes over low heat.

Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
