My weakness is the recipes with vanilla cream and fruit - as I came across this recipe I did not hesitate to try it immediately. It is absolutely delicious, fine, soft, creamy, fresh, fragrant - so I could praise it a lot ... better try it yourself!
The recipe is simple as such, just prepare the pudding in time (to cool down) and have the cherries (I think it goes with other fruits) ready and pitted.

Prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the envelope, set it aside to cool - at least an hour.
During this time you can prepare the fruit - wash, remove the seeds, etc.
Then prepare the dough:
- in a bowl mix the butter and sugar well, add the eggs one by one and beat well after each one;
- add flour and baking powder, mix well with the mixer;
- milk follows - mix, a dough will come out like a thicker cream.
Lay a tray with removable walls with baking paper.
Put 2/3 of the dough in the pan, level on the whole surface.
Put the cherries over the dough.
Follow the pudding layer, level well.
And the last layer - the rest of the dough, smooth and distribute evenly over the pudding.
Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
When it is ready, take it out and let it cool completely.
Then remove the edges from the tray, carefully slice the cake and serve with great pleasure!
Of course the cold is perfect, the pudding will hold much better and the cake will be cooler.
