I wanted a simple apricot cake, but really simple, so I said not to invent anything new and extraordinary - I took the recipe for Cherry Sheet Cake, I added cocoa, I replaced it with apricots and another wonderful, simple traybake cake came out and seasonal. Of course you can replace apricots with peaches or other fruits, it is very good anyway.

Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into small pieces - quarters or halves.
In a bowl, mix eggs with milk, oil, sugar and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder and cocoa.
Mix well so that they are not lumpy.
Pour the dough into a large stove tray, lined with baking paper.
Level well, to be in a uniform layer.
Place the apricot pieces on top.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before serving.
Portion and enjoy - aromatic and sour apricots combine perfectly with chocolate dough.
