A classic English dessert, very simple and quick to prepare, with an absolutely excellent result. I would say that the plum version is one of the best, but you can combine them with apples, or replace them with other favorite fruits. The plums seem to caramelize, they become even more fragrant with an intense purple color - perfect, I didn't even expect it. Many prefer the hot version, I liked it very much and cold, anyway it is delicious.
The ingredients are for a small tray - 10x20cm.

Pit the plums and cut them in half or quarters.
Mix with 70g of sugar (you can replace it with brown sugar), cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, a pinch of salt.
Grease the baking tray with butter, pass the plum mixture in it and sprinkle it with lemon juice.
In a bowl, grate the cold butter.
Add 70g sugar, oatmeal, flour and a teaspoon of salt.
With a spoon, mix well so that the ingredients stick a little together.
Sprinkle this mixture over the plums and place the tray in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
After the oven, let it cool for about an hour.
Serve cold or hot, as such or with ice cream next to it.
