A great treat for me this chicken recipe! If you have no more ideas, you're bored of all the food and you want new sensations, try the Turkish style baked chicken recipe. You can use any part you like from chicken, with or without bone, I usually cook boneless thighs and skin and chicken breast. It's extraordinarily good and I've already cooked it over 10 times in the last few months, but I'm still salivating at the thought of making it one more time :)) And it's a pretty light chicken recipe, I used skinless meat, and only 1 tablespoon of oil per 1-2 kg of meat.
For many, many ingredients here will not be a novelty, but my great discovery was the cinnamon used to give a very good aroma to the chicken. Do not hesitate, it is really mandatory to use it!

Prepare the chicken, I usually leave the thighs so simple (boneless and skinless) but cut the chicken breast into thinner slices, to penetrate better.
Add over the cinnamon meat, ground black and white pepper and salt.
Mix well, better with your hands to cover all the chicken pieces as well as possible.
In a small bowl put the lemon juice, crushed garlic, grated ginger or powder and olive oil.
Mix well with a teaspoon.
Pour this composition over the meat.
Add the yogurt.
Cover the bowl with a lid and let the meat penetrate and soak well for 2-8 hours.
I admit that I had 1-2 cases when I immediately put it in the oven, but it is better to marinate it in time, even left overnight.
After this time, arrange the meat in a large tray and put it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 45 minutes.
When it is red and beautiful, take it out of the oven.
Serve with your favorite garnish, but it's perfect with a salad and basmati rice or more interesting cooking with lemon and cinnamon.
