I am very happy that I managed to show you this recipe with duck meat, it is one of the simplest but very effective - it is as tasty as it sounds, you know! I We liked it so much, the star is duck meat - apples, salt and pepper are just to emphasize the taste and texture.
The recipe could be made with the whole duck version, it is cooked in the same way - grease the duck with spices (salt, pepper in the simplest case) - put apple slices next to it, in the belly you can put 1 whole apple and that's it. Don't forget to grease it along with the juice left, for a more beautiful glaze. I still choose to make the recipe with separate legs and chest, the whole duck is effective on a holiday table, but when you start cutting it and portioning the whole effect goes ... Especially when everyone wants to eat duck legs!

Prepare and wash the duck meat, if you have duck breast, cut it into 2-3 pieces.
Peel an apple and grate it.
The apple variety doesn't really matter, I used them all.
Put the meat in a large oven tray, do not grease it with oil, the duck will leave enough fat to cook.
Sprinkle the meat on both sides with salt and pepper.
Arrange the apple slices between the pieces of meat.
Take care here of 2 aspects:
- meat and apples should not be too crowded
- the thighs and chest should be arranged at the end, when they go in the oven, with the skin up.
Place the tray in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
All this time, take it out of the oven and grease (with a brush) the pieces of meat with the juice it leaves.
This is what it should look like at the end, without juice-soup in the pan, the apples are ripe, not boiled and slightly glazed.
Serve the duck with apples next to a favorite garnish - mashed potatoes, peas, rice, salad or anything else you like.
