Today I want to show you a very simple and quick method to prepare the recipe of roasted potatoes in the oven version, without boiling them beforehand and without frying. You can replace the ham with bacon, or any sausage you have on hand, but I think you could prepare the recipe without it.
You will notice in this recipe of oven roasted potatoes that I use breadcrumbs, you should know that I would omit this one next time, it seems to give an interesting texture to the potatoes, but I would not say that it is very obvious.

In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, 2 teaspoons of paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of salt.
If you use crushed garlic, do not put it in this dry composition, mix it directly with the potatoes.
Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut them into medium pieces - quarters or larger cubes.
Over the potatoes add the oil (and crushed garlic, if used), mix.
Then add the dried spices with breadcrumbs from step 1, mix everything well with a spoon.
Move everything to a deep pan and place in the preheated oven at 220 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
After this time check with a knife if the potatoes are soft and cook well.
If the knife does not easily enter them, leave them in the oven until they are ready. The cooking time can be different, depending on the variety of potatoes or the power of the oven.
But when the potatoes are ready, place the chopped ham on top of them.
And the cheese given through the larger grater.
Leave the tray in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Serve immediately with a favorite salad or pickles.
