I found this recipe with a craving for a simple plum cake, more homemade, soft, fluffy and most importantly, fast. I mixed them all quickly, I put the plums on top, and baked them with it.
I recommend you try the recipe, you can replace it with any other fruit, the dough is simple and fast, with ingredients at hand in any kitchen.

Whole eggs are beaten white with sugar and vanilla.
Then add the milk ...
... and oil.
Mix well and even out the composition.
Finally add the flour and baking powder.
Mix well so that they are not lumpy, a slightly thicker dough should come out, but it should flow from the spoon.
Spread a large baking tray (I have a 4-mesh baking tray) with baking paper.
Pour the dough and level well, put the plum halves with the peel down over the dough.
Put a little sugar and a cinnamon powder on each plum.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees for 35-40 minutes, until nicely browned.
Allow to cool well.
Then portion and serve, you can optionally powder with powdered sugar.
Here's an individual slice.
Here the smaller pieces on a larger plate.
